Repairing "Weir" Auxillary Bermudan cutter rigged Ketch

After my last post it was possible to finish the first primer coat below the waterline on the port side. Work continued on the starboard side with me having to rake and clean out the old putty from all the seams. fortunately it came out very easily. I had to stop to go away for a weeks work , but in the meantime a friend who was able to help , finished the remaining stopping and paying of the seams with red lead putty . So I have arrived at the point where I need to sand it all back (40 and 60 grit) on the starboard side ready for painting .. Its getting interesting now !!!. New engine mountings for my Yanmar 3GM arrived and I hope to get the engine out of the boat to service , and to allow me to access, clean and paint the bilge areas under where the engine sits.. I have set a target of approx 5 weeks to complete all works that will allow me to put her back into the water ..
