Repairing "Weir" Auxillary Bermudan cutter rigged Ketch
Following on from my last post the job list started to look as if it was getting shorter in length.. The top sides have had another 2 coats of gloss each side ..so thats 4 coats total .. and the deck has been painted with Anti-slip, looks ok .. Bowsprit is back on and just as I was getting to the point of pulling the anchor chain up and laying into the chainlocker ..I had to go away and work for 3 weeks amazing how this thing called work gets in the way of far better pleasures :-). Still the rubbing strake and cap rail is finished and painted and if the weather holds up later this week will cut out out and refit 2 new stern posts (Bits) and sort the hole in the deck.. ..All instruments are back on board and working .. Then it comes down to anti-fouling and a good days weather for slipping her ... well pleased ..My only concern now is that as boats are lifted out for the end of the season I don't get blocked in..
