Competent crew (M/F) sought for Indian Ocean Crossing, starting approx Feb 15. . It starts in Langkawi Malaysia and ends somewhere around the Seychelles or Tanzania, Madagascar, Mayote, depending on who's open. It should be a fast passage in a Mumby 48 aluminum catamaran. BUT........you have to have a negative PCR test and quarantine for a week in Malaysia. We'll have to work out how that's done. A sister boat videoblogged a somewhat similar, but rougher crossing. This should be a fantastic voyage with plenty of fish, beautiful sunsets and...(no internet connection)? You need to have some experience in the open ocean because it's several weeks at sea, with a possible stop in the Maldives. In life it's easy and relatively cheap to find places to snorkel during the day and party in the evening. A 2700 nm passage across the Indian Ocean is priceless.
