Want to learn how to restore older, neglected sailboats?
Well, I am currently living on board and restoring a Trimaran that has been sitting on the hard for many years. I will be doing a variety of jobs to bring her back from the brink of the landfill! If you want to learn about the process I love to share what I know and what I am doing. If you want to pitch in that would be great but not required! I am an ameture but have done this many, many times! I enjoy the process and even more when I can share it with someone. The monohull photo was my last project, a 1985 Beneteau Idylle (43') in Port Charlotte Florida. We still own her but wanted to move to a trimaran for the extra stability. The Trimaran is a 43' Roger Simpson Design built in 1985. It should be a great project and I am looking forward to spending the hottest months in Maine! I am hoping to wrap her up and sail her to North Carolina before the cold weather sets in! If I can get her done I will be posting that trip as a seperate event!!
