\u00a0This app can transport you back to those days with the sound of a ship&#8217;s bell every hour and half hour. \u00a0In the days of Nelson, the ships bell would strike every half hour to mark the sailors&#8217; watch duty, eight bells in total for a four-hour watch. \u00a0The ship&#8217;s bell will strike in the background and does not have to be running. \u00a0Requires iOS 4.0 or later. \u00a0This app is currently free and has a 5-star rating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tall Ships &#8211; Age of Sail\u00a0By Mantid Interactive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This app will while away the hours whilst you are stuck below in a Force 8. \u00a0It is an action-packed 3D game simulating naval combat. \u00a0The player commands his ship and fights in campaign battles which are set in the Mediterranean Sea during the 1800s. \u00a0As the player progresses he will command larger, more capable ships and the enemy becomes more capable too! \u00a0Requires iOS 3.0 or later, the current price is \u00a32.49 and it has a 3-star rating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pirates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ever harboured a wish to be a pirate?
