Bournemouth Air Show Images 2013<\/h2>\n

This Summer I was lucky enough to be invited along on Spook to watch the Bournemouth Air Show. \u00a0Here are some Bournemouth Air Show images from the day. \u00a0If you get invited or have a yacht then it’s a must for next year. \u00a0There is no better place, in my mind, to watch the air show than from the deck of a yacht. \u00a0Anchored up at the end of Bournemouth Pier, it is a fantastic viewpoint with the planes flying over the yacht masts at low level.<\/p>\n

Spook is Lymington based so after an early rise I headed down to Lymington to meet up. \u00a0After a quick safety check, we set sail at 0800 our destination…….Bournemouth Pier! \u00a0 We had a good run down and were anchored at the end of the pier for 10:30 \u00a0 The air display was due to start at 12:00 so there was plenty of time to relax with a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea, watching the late arrivals and their anchor wars!<\/p>\n

At 12:00 sharp the Red Arrows flew in from the West flying over the yachts to begin their display in a cloudless sky. \u00a0An unbelievable sight, you could even see the pilots as they flew past!<\/p>\n

Spook is available for charter to the Bournemouth Air Show or indeed any other\u00a0skippered charter; therefore it doesn’t matter what your sailing ability is – novice crew to master mariner – all are welcome to join in.<\/p>\n

Spook is available for daily charter during the week, at weekends and throughout the holidays within 20 miles of Lymington (covering the Solent, over to the Isle of Wight and Christchurch Bay).<\/p>\n

Whether you are looking for a day of adventure where you can learn to sail or you would prefer anchoring in a quiet bay to relax, unwind and watch the world go by, (or the planes!) then the choice is yours.<\/p>\n
