Boats For Sale on Lovesail – Classified Section<\/h2>\n

1985 Islander 28<\/h2>\n

Saildreamer –\u00a0 Well maintained, clean, Robert Perry designed Islander 28. Lots of updates. Located in Stratford, CT.\u00a0 As you can see just from the prop alone – I absolutely love this boat and hate to give her up but I needed to upgrade. She’s a super comfortable, well-balanced cruiser\/racer. She single hands well and is comfy for 2 adults for cruising. If you have 2 more she can handle it as well for those shorter overnight\/weekend trips. This boat is SO easy to single hand, with an autohelm that tacks for you while you do the crew work. She’s easy to maintain and sails like a dream. Anchor out for some sunning (there’s room on deck to relax and get that tan!) and take a swim off the transom with dinner to follow after a sweet day of sailing.<\/p>\n

This anchor has held 4 boats rafted up MUCH bigger than Rebecca without a problem. She’s a joy to own and easy to maintain. I did not replace the canvas as not everyone likes bright yellow – but the current canvas still has life in it so take your time to decide what color you want next!<\/p>\n

Winter storage and launch are paid for – I’m happy to help guide you on how to ready her for the launch too which if COVID doesn’t intervene again – will be in mid-May.<\/p>\n
