Unique, intelligent, tenacious and feminine. Love the sea and the community. Originally from the US, relocated to New Zealand 25yrs ago. Mainly a teacher of Education Outside the Classroom (mountain skills), with a variety of other professional training and skills. I think I'm a good communicator... I'm a competent sailor, always learning, like being in sync with crew mates and improve maneuvers. Hands on goes a long way when sailing, I'm not one to just sit on the rail or read a book unless it's about apparent wind angle or cloud formations or some other fascinating subject!!!! Musician. A friend told me about this site. Not particularly rich or poor. Ideal to find the person who is experienced enough in life to know that they value a shared experience.

Competent sailor and at provisioning. Blue water to and from the Pacific Islands/New Zealand. Long coastal races. Keel boat racer, laser racer socially. I enjoy being on the water especially. Still learning, like to review my understandings mostly to feel comfortable and competent. Have a desire to sail the Panama Canal, Galapagos, Marquees, Papaetee etc (think Stephen Stills 'Southern Cross'... back to New Zealand and beyond. Thinking live aboard works for me in the right company.

NZ Boatmaster (rules of the road), US coastguard Theory for Safety at Sea. Book knowledge is useful, experience and drills while on board are most useful.
