Ahoy Sailors!
Alas, I'm sailing full time for a bit more than a year now after spending the last 4 years sell-sell-selling from land life. Now, footloose with a Lagoon 420 water-home this crazy gamble stays flush with soulful confirmation. The currents, winds, depths, dolphins and the welcome of sailors, it's a damn fine way to live. A compatible mate in my mind brings a raucous sense of humor, dug-in integrity, seasoned problem solving chops and a reflex for kindness when sorting out differences. Oh yea, romance and sail trim go well together.Although I'm credentialed and mostly prepared to operate charter services the covid cloud still looms albeit not for long. So, perhaps going forward there's some income options if that might be on your list of maybes.
Making new friends and solid crew along the way is welcome and I'll consider crew secondarily. Drop a line, lets compare charts! Please, respectfully, I prefer the absence of Trump supporters in my private life.

For the past year I've lived full-time aboard my 2009 Lagoon 420. In the four years prior to that, as I was liquidating my material world, I spent most of the winter months exploring the Bahamas and summer months on the east coast of USA. In the last 5 years on Shangri La I've sailed roughly 14,000 nautical miles, most of it single handing. Prior to that I sailed a 26 foot monohull that I twice single handed up the Inside Passage of British Colombia. Although I learned to operate short handed I prefer capable crew to help make things more comfortable, safer and enjoyable.

All totalled I've been a boat owner for 40 years, mostly water skiing in my 20's and 30's. I fell in love with sailing 20 years ago after sailing the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Since there I've taken a litany of classes to further my sailing skills. I currently hold a USCG 100 Ton Captain's License. In the first several years of owning Shangri La I spent acquiring competence and knowledge of blue water sailing.
