I started sailing on a lake with my family when very young and been sailing ever since! I am originally from Ft. Worth, TX (family still lives there and sails!). I enjoy being active - sailing (of course!), hiking, camping, gardening, music festivals, live shows and traveling. I have lived in several states and in Northern California for over 18 years with easy travel to the bay.
I work at a university in advancement. My two beautiful children are in their 20’s, have left the nest and doing well! I love to laugh and find that humor can be the best medicine. Love family and friends and keeping things simple. Best time is on the water!
- Sailing Experience:

I started sailing when I was six years old and have sailed ever since. I raced lasers from the age of 12 to 19 with other junior sailors from our boat club and traveled to regattas. Raced dinghy's (420s, Thistles, Vagabonds, Holders, and owned a Flying Scot for 20 years). Have pleasure sailed and raced on the following boats J24, Ranger 20, Santana 20, Catalina 22 & 27, More 24, Santa Cruz 27, J106, Tarten 10, Beneteau 52 (Caribbean sailing as crew for two trips of island hopping). I have skippered and crewed on the smaller boats -24 ft.
I currently belong to a small boat club in NorCal and have been on the club board for over 5 years. We sail on a small lake and we teach sailing lessons. I am looking to travel to regattas and would enjoy sailing in the bay area more. - Sailing Qualifications:

54 years of sailing and still enjoying the thrill of it and I am physically fit!! I am active in a small club that focuses on teaching sailing on our club boats. Look forward to more active racing and hope to plan some Caribbean trips for sailing! So enjoyed the island hopping and fun with learning island histories, snorkeling and exploring on two trips with my brother and friends. Can handle some cooking on these trips and crewing!!
