I have sailed the Pacific Northwest for many years, I have lived in Alaska travel by canoe both winter and summer as a trapper, worked on commercial towboats fishing boats, and sailed the coastline by sail for many years. I've also sailed the entire West Coast from Alaska to Panama also done crossings from Hawaii to the West Coast on large schooners.

I have sailed and worked commercial offshore supply vessels throughout the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean side of Central America and some sailing in Brazil, as well as working, expeditions on the upper Amazon Rivers guiding and traveling by large 8m river canoes for hundreds of kilometers up and down the tribute Rivers of the Rio Negro
Along with working on the upper Rivers in the Highlands of Borneo carry out more ethnographic work for museums and universities.

I've now bought a 22 m traditional Danish sailing ketch we now have finished the refurbishing and heading from Denmark to Brazil and the Amazon region
