I am a UK and Canadian citizen who has been living aboard and sailing the Bahamas and the Caribbean for a number of years. I am now back in. Florida after spending the winter in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas all summer.
I work teaching young scouts about the sailing life on week long cruises through the summer and keep cruising the rest of the year.
My boat is a 1983 Morgan 416 in great shape....I just bought her and am getting used to the systems. All looks good so far.
I would like to find a partner, equal in all respects, to make the journey more interesting. Being alone has some advantages I know, but it is better with two. I own my boat, even though she is 40 years old she serves me well. Keeping her, sharing a newer boat, using your boat...anything is possible. Friends first of course. Come for a few weeks vacation to start and see where it leads.
I have been sailing for many years, the last 15 years as a live aboard. RYA licence, many races and an Atlantic crossing.
I'm a quiet guy, no yelling on my boat.
I will be in Florida for a few months and then back to the Bahamas in February.Hope to hear from you.
