Quite practical with my hands. In late 2017 I fell in love with the lines 0f a traditional wooden ketch rigged 34ft yacht (see photos). She was built in Austrailia from Huon Pine and is Ocean going 11.31tonnes registered. At 50 years old Her survey was excellent and she is in renovation phase to prepare her for launching .. Where I live is a beautiful area for sailing to learn about her ways , but my plan is to maybe eventually part live work aboard and cruising both offshore ocean and coastal hopping.
Romance ??..Oohh..well , who Knows .. It would be very nice to meet someone likeminded who has reached a stage in her life where she is tired of the rat race, and is open to the idea of helping me and my crazy dog this journey of repairing and sailing this lovely yacht.

So a trip to traditional boat supplies based in Bristol to pick up 5 kgs of ready made putty was made. Today weather was good in Pembroke, and so work continued on paying the seams, fairing the hul…

Well over the last few days we have had a lot of rainy days, which has prevented me from continuing with the repaying of linseed putty in the seams of the hull. However the last three days have been good and some hours could be given to the boat.. It goes along quite well, the port side is finished…
