The Samui Regatta is the final race of the Asian Yachting Grand Prix (AYGP) which is a series of twelve races happening across six countries. One of the most eagerly anticipated races in the Asian yachting calendar, the Samui Regatta, taking place this year between the 23rd of May and the 30th of May, has almost become as well-known for its accompanying nightlife and partying as for the actual race itself.

Round the Island Yacht Race
The annual Round the Island Yacht Race is organized by the Island Sailing Club. Beginning and ending in Cowes, the date that it takes place depends on the tides. It is usually held during the month of June, although it may be held in late May or early July if the sea refuses to cooperate with the traditional timetable.
