I've been single for awhile and my daughters are off to college so it's time for a new chapter. I am yearning for adventures and would love nothing more than to meet someone to share it all with. I'm sincere and down-to-earth, and looking for the same. I hope to meet someone who is youthful, positive, who laughs easily and who will appreciate each day, whatever the weather.

Sailing, and being on the water, is a lifelong dream. There's so much that I love about sailing...the fresh, briny smell of the ocean, the gentle rocking with the waves, the way sunlight twinkles on the water, the whooshing sound sails make during a a tack or jibe, and I even love the gentle sounds of halyards clanging against masts in a marina.

I also love to kayak and scuba dive (diving with a humpback or whale shark is on my bucket list!) I also love to travel, am bilingual, and have more than one passport! In the Winter I enjoy cross-country skiing (and occasional downhill).

I enjoy my independence but life would be sweeter with the right partner. I am hopeful to meet someone like-minded, maybe someone with a sailboat who is looking for a first mate!
