About Me:: An engineer by profession, I had worked as an expat in several different countries, than operated my own company for architectural work for many years. In recent years decided to slow down and enjoy my hobbies more. Being a nature lover and sports enthusiast, sailing was the way to go for me. I am based in southwest of Turkey, which is perfect for exploring the beautiful Turquise coast and the Greek Islands.
Sailing Experience:: Got my first sailing course around 10 years ago, but really got into it two years ago. In 2020 chartered boats in Med with experienced captains and did quite a bit of mileage. Bought my first boat (Jeanneau SO 410) in 2021, spent almost 6 months on it during that first year. Built up quite a bit of experience for recreational level, I am comfortable to sail short handed or on my own.
