The Extreme Sailing Series – Cardiff is on its way. This leviathan rolls into Cardiff Bay next week with the sails unfurled and set ready to go on Thursday 18th June. The Bay has no respite until Sunday 21st June when the sun will set on Act 4 and the boats are packed away on the longest of days to move onto Hamburg.
This race is not for the faint-hearted. The Race to Alaska attracts some 120 sailors, rowers, canoers and kayakers from all across the country into 50-odd teams of adventurers. The first one across the finish line in Ketchikan, Alaska wins the $10000 prize.
Beale Park Boat Show and Outdoor Show runs from Friday 5th June until Sunday 7th June 2015, at Beale Park, Lower Basildon near Reading.

For 14 days the harbour of Scheveningen in Holland becomes the heart of the Dutch competitive sailing world. Yachts of all shapes and sizes will sail in to take part in the North Sea Regatta 2015.
Act 3 of the Extreme Sailing Series takes place in the Olympic sailing city of Qingdao in China. Starting on Thursday 30th April it runs for 4 days finishing on Sunday 3rd May 2015.
Antigua Sailing Week 2015 runs from April 25th until May 1st around the beautiful island of Antigua.
Now in its 47th year, the regatta is attracting over 100 racing yachts and thousands of sailors from all over the globe. It has become one of the most prestigious racing regattas in the Caribbean.
