Sailing French Polynesia (Bora Bora) to New Zealand

I am on a circumnavigation and participants are welcome on parts of the route Bora Bora-Tonga-Fiji-New Zealand starting on Bora Bora August 11th, 2026.
I started the journey in Portugal and I have sailed with crew one season in the Mediterranean, across the Atlantic with crew and other sailboats, two seasons in the Caribbean, crossing the Pacific and now the boat is on Bora Bora in French Polynesia. Before that I sailed many years in the Baltic and on the west coast of Sweden.
The boat is a Hallberg-Rassy 42 (F mkII) equipped for long distance sailing (watermaker, Epirb, sattelite communication with Iridium and Starlink, liferaft, radar, AIS, VHF, large solarpanels etc).
Sailing experience with night watches, no problem with seasickness and a good mood is needed.

Crew welcome to participate for the delivery to the Canaries as a small cost contribution.
Or if you’re up for it, stay onboard for up to 12 months touring the Caribbean and participating in the major regattas, including the Heineken Regatta St Maarten, BVI Spring Regatta, Grenada Week, C600, all these events have costs, but we are not doing this for profit.
Fireball is an exceptionally well-maintained First 40.7. Up to RORC & MCA Cat 2 standards.
As skipper, I’ve sailed 7 Fastnet races, the Atlantic and extensive racing and cruising around the UK and the Caribbean.
Must be able to sail and helm, must have a good sense of humour, physically fit.
Will possibly sell additional race spots at full market value in which case you would get a share of income.
