- single handed by age 9, first job was a dinghy instructor, shipwright, middle management, boat sales and Ive had my own small marine based business for the last 25 years. I think probably between 50-60K sea miles, most of which were short handed, I do the local coastal and offshore races and like the scillies ireland and scotland, anywhere that time and finance allow really.
