About Me:: Athletic and adventurous, I am happiest on, in or near the ocean! My home sailing region is Long Island Sound, where I sail/race small and larger keel boats. Separated and on way to divorce, I have three adult kids and 2 small grandchildren, all of whom light up my world. Born and raised in Manhattan, I also love museums and other cultural experiences, as well as travel, skiing, tennis, and hiking. generally being active and outdoors.
Sailing Experience:: I've been sailing small boats since I was young and began cruising and racing my J42 over the past decade or so. I still enjoy racing my club's Ideal 18s and Sonars and have done a small amount of Shields racing. I've done the Marblehead-Halifax and Newport-Bermuda races and have cruised from Gibraltar to Grand Canary as well as in the BVI's.
