Hey there, my name is Shane and I am 43. I live in British Columbia and I have a 45 foot Irwin Centre cockpit cutter.
I have been single for over three years and I am actually quite content. I am a contractor and do all sorts of renovations for a living. Just looking to see who is out there and who has the same dream in mind, as mine is to sail the world. I’m hoping to head south from here in October 2022 to start my adventure and see where I end up! - Sailing Experience:
- I learned how to sail when I was 14 and spent a couple of summers on a 15 foot laser. Then did not sail again for 25 years until two years ago I spent the summer on a Catalina 250 and on-came the obsession! Now I have my 45 foot Irwin that I am learning how to handle. I’m no master sailor by any means but learning every day and love every second of it!
