About Me:: I am the proud owner of a Shannon 38 that I am refitting currently in Saint Marys Georgia. My Bluewater experience is growing but I also have a 34 foot CNC on a lake in Illinois so I get to sail regularly.
I'm a physician and becoming an empty Nester as we speak. I am planning on a lot more time on the water now that my kids have moved on with their lives. Obviously, I will see them regularly and hopefully frequently, but I expect to spend most of my time on the water in just a few years.
Sailing Experience:: A decade or so of sailing on fresh water. Single masted CNC 34. I've got that pretty much down. I only have a few weeks in a Dufour in the Atlantic and in the Caribbean. I Purchased, the Shannon 38 because it's a solid boat and I can update the way I like it.
