- My step father was a sailor, my mother an even more avid sailor (great American loop, and sails all season) over the past 16 years summers and family trips are sailing centered. I've done a few competitions, of which I did what I was told and had an expert crew. I would say I'm an amateur sailor who follows directions well. With an eagerness for more experience. Great grandaughter x 6 of a Pirate so its in my blood.
