Athletic and active, self-employed (can manage remotely), student, liveaboard, music, reader, non-smoking... based in the western Med now, and even during these times, am planning to bounce around here from 2020 through 2021, then... headed out and about... I can’t say that a circumnav. is a specific goal, but there are a lot of places to explore in this world, and I may end up sailing all the way around it.
For work, I’ve been in coastal and marine studies and conservation since uni. Play time: besides sailing, I swim, dive, climb, run, hike, ride bikes, etc. And I can make all kinds of noises on a guitar, cajon, and few other things.
My boat (14m Finot design from early 1980s, one of only 5) is a charming and comfortable home on the inside, and a strong and safe sailer on the outside.
Near-term plans may include Italy, Tunisia, Morocco, Gib, Canaries, Madeira, Spain (all coasts, but especially the Med)... but I would really like to do all this stuff with a partner, so if you’ve got an idea, let’s discuss :-)
