Easy going, adventurous spirit and Sporty. Enjoy travelling, cycling, walking , sailing ,swimming, reading. Probably other things which I can’t think of right now ! :) Enjoy meeting people. worked most of my life in the tourism /travel industry. For the past 4 years have been sailing on an expedition yacht in the northern hemisphere April - October.
Looking to sail with like minded people - enjoying everything sailing has to offer - it has so much which I’ve come to love.
Was born in Holland - family immigrated to New Zealand - have lived here most of my life. Happy to meet up anywhere and sail anywhere in the world.

Learnt to sail at age 50 - did 3 sailing schools here in New Zealand 10 day off shore - crewed on trips to the sub Antarctic islands of New Zealand - Campbell and auckland islands , Snares and Antipodes.
Sailed as crew member to Raoul Island in the Kermadec island group. 2017 sailed from New Zealand to Alaska and through the North West Passage - crewed and cooked. Then sailed onwards to Greenland and Iceland. In 2018 on same yacht did charters in Norway and Svalbard for 5 months.
