I’ve always been intrigued by new things. I grew up on the the beaches of San Diego and got into sailing as a boy. I love learning about everything from nature, marine biology, ecology, people, festivities and regattas. I’m excited for this new phase of my life. The sea has always been my home and I hope to continue this journey. Exploring and cruising the Caribbean has been a dream of mine. I’m would love to share my adventure with a good friend and companion. My 6 month old Australian Labradoodle is my first mate.

Built a boat with my dad at 10 and sailed and explored San Diego bay. At 16 I got a 16’ Hobie cat and surfed and sailed north county. I gave up sailing for my career. When I retired in 2011, I moved to Naples Florida and have been sailing and racing my Benetau 350 there during the winters. We got BOTY for SWF in 2017. I crewed racing in San Diego and Long Beach during the summers. I now have a Hunter 456 in Puerto Rico. I soloed there last winter. But that definitely wasn’t for me. The isolation and loneliness were devastating.
