Recently separated, one young son, following a painful life changing event including bereavements.

Have a passion and love of all things sailing; bucket list includes owning a Spirit Yacht.
Cruising rather than racing, and will consider sailing around the world with a wealthy heiress to include marriage and family. But then this is not the movies!
If I was to be Captain Ron, I must perfect my docking manoeuvres to his standard.
Have many great qualities and skills, but that is part of the journey of getting to know someone.

Started sailing about five years old on a mirror dingy and loved being on the water ever since.
Most sailing on the south coast and east coast of the UK (Coastal-on-shore) on yachts from 25ft. to 40 ft. A little Cat. sailing and diving in the red sea in my 20s. Some med sailing from Marseille 10 years ago.
Completed the forms for the relaunch of the “global challenge” wanted to be somewhere between Robin Knox-Johnston & Bernard Moitessier, but not Donald Crowhurst (I prefer good passage planning). In the end I, lacked the long distance sailing, due to time, money and commitments. Not uncommon!
Many of the accomplished yachtsman found the weather particularly hard that year.
Good at cooking (GF) and I like red wine.
