About Me:: I'm a retired writer and author. Looking for a compatible partner who likes to sail but also knows her way around a sailboat. No shrinking violets, please.
Sailing Experience:: I've been sailing since I was in my 20's. Let's say it's lots of years and leave it at that. I've owned boats from 16' to 42' and loved them all. Sailed Lake Michigan, Chesapeake, Gulf of Mexico, and Atlantic. Would love to sail the Pamlico and Abermarle just to familiarize myself with them.
Sailing Qualifications:: ASA trained and certified. Been sailing for over 50 years. Three years in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Trained at Coast Guard Academy in Newport, VA.
