I am a 54 year old woman who recently retired and would like to meet people to connect with and go sailing. I have limited amount of offshore cruising, but I just completed a trip from San Diego to Cabo to Loreto and I fell in love with offshore cruising. Previously I had sailed and raced on an all women's sailing team, however, due to work and caring for my mother I had not sailed much for a few years. Now that I am retired I am looking to crew. I love to cook and provision, I do not get sea sick (thankfully) I am very handy on a boat and I love sailing!! I am very easy going, shy at times, but I do love to sail and I would like to meet other people who have a love for the ocean and sailing.
- Sailing Experience:
- I sailed on an all women's race team for a number of years. We won our first series and then continued on for a few years until the team broke up. I have done a number of trips to Santa Cruz Island and just recently sailed from San Diego to Cabo and then up to Loreto.
