Semi-retired, easy-going, well-educated man with great sense of humor. Seeking a woman with similar qualities who is ready to sail away for weeks or months at a time. I speak fluent smart-ass and Bostonian. There's humor in everything, and I usually find it. Romantic at heart and a gentleman. Family is important to me. My daughters are grown and live near DC. While I'm cruising, I manage to stay very fit. No fried foods and I am gluten-free. Laid-back (You will never hear me yell unless the boat's on fire) and stress/drama-free. Not into politics or organized religion, but I welcome intellectual conversation and there are no off-limits topics. If you appeal to my mind, my heart, and my eyes, we just might make a good pair! Live aboard, sail Chesapeake Bay, east coast USA, Bahamas and Caribbean. Been sailing for 7+ years, living aboard for 4 years. I've covered more than 9000 nm.
Note: Although I live aboard at the moment, I don’t expect to do so forever. In fact, my vision for the future is to have a small place to call home while my partner and I spend a good portion of the year traveling and cruising. Waiting until “I” am a “we” to make any decisions. - Sailing Qualifications:

I've sailed a 19' Flying Scot, but everything else has been 35' and above. Learned to sail 6 years ago. Have been living aboard and cruising for the last 4 years. My boat is a 36' S2 center cockpit, and it is very comfortable for living and cruising but also sails very well. I have cruised up and down the East coast of the US, to and around the Bahamas, and around the Florida Keys - all solo. Looking to sail farther, but not without the right first mate. Currently in the Bahamas, soon slowly making my way back north.
