About Me:

Hello from Captains Ian and Cindy.

Want an adventure and maybe improve your sailing skills aboard a first class luxury yacht? We are sailing our Oyster 54 from NZ to Fiji, cruising Fiji for three months, sailing to Vanuatu and cruising there then back to NZ. Looking for contributing guests.

We have been professional crew together for the past seventeen years, sailed well over 100,000 nm and five ocean crossings. We both have professional business backgrounds and MBAs. Ian is also a sailing instructor and Cindy is also a nurse and an accomplished chef. While crewing on the Oyster World Rally, we had the opportunity to purchase a 54 in NZ, and are now cruising the S. Pacific. If you are looking for a fun vacation or off shore passage please contact us. First opportunity is the passage from NZ to Fiji.

Sailing Experience:

We are a seasoned couple with well over 17 years experience and100,000 nautical miles together; not combined. We have sailed together in the Caribbean, Atlantic, South Pacific, and Indian Oceans; and the Mediterranean Sea and Great Lakes. Ian holds his 200 ton Yacht Master. Cindy holds a 100 ton USCG license, is a Registered Nurse, and an excellent cook. Ian is an advanced diver (Stress & Rescue, SSA) and Cindy has her PADI certification.

Our references are excellent.

Sailing Qualifications:

Over the past 17 years we have sailed well over 100,000 M together, including five ocean crossings. We were live aboard professional yacht crew, now retired and sailing our own boat, an Oyster 54. Ian holds a 200 ton RYA Yachtmaster while Cindy holds a USCG 100 ton license. Come sail with us!
