I was fortunate enough to grow up on a lake designed for sailing in Southern California. Racing was my way of life. I am currently looking to purchase a bluewater boat that can handle any adventure. The largest sailboat I have owned was a 32’ foot Fuji.
- Sailing Experience:

Been sailing for 40-plus years. The mass majority of my sailing experience has been in smaller 16 to 21-foot sailboats. I have never sailed through the night but look forward to it. I have much to learn, however, I know electronic and mechanical systems and can fix about anything. I have rented a few larger sailboats but always had a qualified captain aboard. So at the end of the day, I would be considered a new guy.
- Sailing Qualifications:

Well, I'm a qualified and talented sailor depending on who you ask. Put me on a Catalina 16.5 or a Hobie 18 I am right at home and can completely hold my own. Set me in a room of well-traveled seasoned open-water sailors and I'm a wallflower. With that being said, can I fly a hull for over a mile and balance the boat on a trapeze, yup! Can I plot a trip to Belize and all the logistics surrounding a trip like that? Not yet.
