About Me:: Experienced crew for yachts up to 45ft. I sail weekly in the English Channel in most weather. This year I am learning to cook onboard so we all have a warm meal waiting on arrival at destination. Current boat I service the winches, jammers, running rigging, I also operate chartplotter and have yachtmaster theory navigation, restricted vhf operator's licence, and powerboat level 2.
Sailing Experience:: I sailed dinghies as a child and started yachting in 1985
I owner/skippered 30ft aux. Bermudian rigged sloop from 1991 to 2010 sailing in English Channel as often as possible. More recently I have sailed in Mediterranean and crew on 45 ft boat out of Brighton. Went out 44 times in 2022. So far in 2023 we have crossed Channel 4 times, and go out most weekends, including Littlehampton, Gosport, Yarmouth, Eastbourne. Current skipper has lots of family commitments on the horizon and I'm just crew so looking around for new adventures.
