Love boat-life, nature, wildlife, walking, sailing, especially where there are rivers, creeks and islands to explore and plenty of birds, deer, otters, dolphins, flamingos, etc. I know the West Coast of Scotland and SW Ireland pretty well and earlier the East Coast rivers and estuaries. I like Spain, Portugal and France too. I have spent quite a lot of time in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and also East Africa and love those places, the people, the wildlife, food and the traditional ways of doing things. Would be great to share this and seek new places and interests with someone of similar or complimentary outlook and skills or someone wanting new adventures. Simple life, at a pace to enjoy and savour Nature's beauty and bounty.
- Sailing Experience:

Have crewed and skippered various sailing boats, mostly paper charts and hand-bearing compass, tillers rather than wheels. I have a 6 ton bermudan cutter thai I've sailed all over West Coast of Scotland and SW Ireland, tho started out from Walton on the Naze way back. Have also sailed in Spain and Portugal, France too. 25 years ago I sailed most of the Inner and Outer Hebrides in a wooden Wayfarer dinghy camping aboard.
