I live in the Lake District and am a keen wild swimmer. I’m also a keen horse rider, and dabble in photography. I’m currently working full time, but hoping to find a job or freelancer career to allow more time to travel, but for now I’m looking to meet a friend who wants to do short trips.

I’m a lightly experienced sailor, having sailed mainly in the Med recently, but I grew up sailing dinghies in the Lake District, and have done a bit of coastal Florida, and crossing to the Bahamas. I’ve got my non-tidal day skipper but I prefer to crew. I love bring out at sea, out of sight of land. Beats a beach holiday hands down. I’m not a fan of doing nothing, and there’s always something needs doing on a boat, plus you get the chance to see amazing wildlife.
I love falling asleep at anchor with the gentle noise of the water on the hull. I’m not a great fan of rough water though, unless for a good reason, and with a confident skipper. - Sailing Qualifications:
