About Me:: I'm 69, very easy going, fit with a happy positive outlook. Just days before the first covid lockdown I became a full time liveaboard.
I spend my time when not underway immersed in nature, walking, fishing for food and reading. I thrive on being outdoors. The journey for me is probably more important than the destination. In 2022 I will be sailing to southern Ireland and circumnavigating tht UK with no particular timescale, hopefully with company for parts or all of the trip
Sailing Experience:: I sailed a little in the 70's on a Folk Boat, on the East Coast and The Netherlands. My boat is a 1979 Golden Hind, moored near Cargreen on the River Tamar. The last 3 years I've sailed along the south coast and out to the Isles of Scilly. Last year I cruised down the west coast of France to La Rochelle. I sail mostly singlehanded or with friends when possible.
Sailing Qualifications:: RYA Day Skipper also the Coastal/Yachtmaster theory
