OK - this is a bit awkward . . . It reminds me of the joke about the fishaholic on a dating site that describes his ideal woman and if she's inclined to respond to send a picture of her fishing boat with her response . . .

I'm a long time wanna be sailor. I've taken several sailing classes, read volumes of nautical history both, fiction and non-fiction, subscribed and devoured Wooden Boat magazine for ten years, I know a great deal about boat construction, built one small boat and was on my second when the space was better suited for my son's drum kit. I've taken and passed the sailing and seamanship course.

I'm on chapter two of my life, my youngest is in college for another three years and despite scouring sailboats for sale ads I'm at least three years away from owning one of my own. Since there's no rewind and no replay switch on life waiting would seem a poor option to get out on the water.

I'm in good physical shape, handy and while at sea can take an order.
