Hi, and welcome aboard....I cruise full time between the Great Lakes and the Caribbean, including Cuba, a fascinating country. When I'm not cruising, I'm exploring whatever place I'm anchored in, or fixing the boat - we all know what that's about.
Every fall I lead a rally of up to 20 boats south on the ICW, it's a great adventure known as Sail to the Sun. I've made some absolutely amazing friends from this group over the past five years, and sail as often as I can with them.
Now how about you? You should be self confident, independent, intelligent and, most important of all, be able to make a slammer Painkiller in a Force 7 storm while underway. We have priorities :)
Who am I looking for? Someone to share this amazing lifestyle with me - the beautiful sunsets and moonlit nights, the wonderful friends, the great (and some not so great!) sails, a bottle of wine, the lobsters we speared just this afternoon...
The profile section here leaves much to be desired. I'm 5'11", 210 pounds, fit, with brown/grey hair where i have some left. Also - you will need to either be very patient with my being away a lot, or be able to travel with me, or have a lot of air miles to fly in and join me at whatever paradise I'm anchored up in. You've been warned! ;>)
I've discovered that the best fit for me is a lady who is intelligent and has accomplished something with her life. She isn't afraid to be her man's equal, is independent, can hold an intelligent conversation, and has a variety of interests. Quirky is good. Willing to laugh about anything, impetuous, adventurous - all good. Affectionate - which will be returned in kind. Willing and wanting to be an equal partner in adventures, whatever mischief comes along, or just life. That's a lot to ask I know, but if you're the right lady, we'll both know it.
