- About Me:
Hello all and welcome us back. Because although this section says about me, it's more about us, so let me start off by sharing a little bit about my lady Stella Maris.
Stella, my 1975, 68 ft John Alden cutter ketch with 53ft of water line is as much as home as a home. Having restored about 98% of her I've designed her for single handed sailing, because the kids were too young to help back then, so yes I do single handle this vessel when "we wished" to go somewhere. However, she also a needs a brave soul to navigate in tight quaters such as the ICW, something I tend to avoid. As for her details, well I'll be posting some info here and there so please follow along if yea be interested.
As per her Captain, well lets just say I am a bit of an enigma and proud of it as I've grown to understand my indifferences.... smile. That said, lets just nutshell it into a Savvy Sailor, with creating solutions on how to keep things functioning in a lively manner....
Purpose of being here is to find true adventures, persons who are bold and committed in a search of a fulfilled life; no more talking time for doing attitude. Won't bore you with sales pitches or cheap words as to who I am and/or why you should travel along; my reasons are true and open, you only need know your desire to sail and then act upon it.
Wishing all the beat in their search for answers...
