- lifetime I've trailered and sailed my Hobie 16 up and down the east coast. As far north as a race around the Statue of Liberty and south to the Keys, west Florida Tampa & St Petersburg. Mostly on the North Carolina Crystal Coast on out to Shackleford Banks or Cape Lookout. Worked in the Marine Industry selling hardware, software and boats in Annapolis MD for a decade Started out sailing the family Sunfish on the backyard lake, discovered the "speed fix" of the Hobie 16 forty years ago and still love it. Crewed aboard; Melges 24, Etchells, J/22, J/24, Catalina 320, C&C 37, C&C Landfall 38
