A lot of my life is about boats. I am an attorney with my own small firm and a practice that is focused on the yachting and workboat communities in California, and I am an avid sailboat racer.

I am absolutely passionate about sailing, so sharing time aboard boats is high on the list of things I look for in a partner (don't worry - I'm a pretty good teacher).

My friends and family typically find a lot of contradictions in my life and lifestyle. I am an attorney but I don’t really act like one away from the office (you can breathe that sigh of relief now). I am a former commercial fisherman but I can use “your” and “you’re” in a sentence without stumbling over my keyboard and I know my way around a high end wine list.
