About Me:

I have been Sailing for 40 years, from the start in a Sabot to now on my third largish yacht.
Have done the South Pacific "milk run" to New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Cal and back, then family arrived.
Am busy "shaking down" new boat bought from Brisbane in September 2018, it ticks a lot of boxes missing in the past with boats. Shallow Draft (swing keel), Alloy (no wood rot, rusting problems) and for the first time a private aft cabin with a double bed.. luxury for me. Currently cruising Hervey bay waters to get to know new boat.
I intend to cruise the Queensland Coast again in 2021. I have family in Brisbane so may end up there for a while.. don't know.. wherever the winds of fortune blow me by then!!
Looking for crew temporary or permanent!

Sailing Experience:

Racing: Dinghys to Trailer Sailers for over 40 years.
Cruising: Queensland coast from Brisbane to Townsville. N.S.W. Coast from Brisbane to Sydney. Australia to New Zealand, New Zealand to Fiji, Fiji to Vanuatu, Vanuatu to New Caledonia.

Highlights and places on my "bucket list".. Sailing the Bay of Islands New Zealand, climbing the active volcano in TANNA (Vanuatu).
Bucket list: Lizard island, Middle Percy (again), Whitsundays etc etc etc

Sailing Qualifications:

Many, many sea miles under my keels.
Fully Qualified Marine Electronics technician.
Boatbuilder.
Radio operators Licences.
Queensland Boat Licence (not worth the paper it's written on really).

Overseas: 6,000nm Coastal : 1500nm
