Recently purchased a 2008 Beneteu Oceanis 43 as a liveaboard. I am a single mechanical engineer and I am looking for anything someone to date. Friends that sail and crew are always welcome. I may dabble again with racing or at least three beer can races. Would love to learn from others and show / teach complete newbies to sailing what it is like.

Hobie Cat from age 10 to 13 with my dad. Raced a Pearson 30 and a Hunter 40 as crew for about 8 years in the southern Chesapeake Bay. Just purchased a boat and will be bringing it back to Virginia from Charleston.
Been around power boats my younger life. Worked as a designer of military power boats for 17 years. Under power, been up and down the ICW and open open four times.
Working on paperwork for a near coastal captain's license.
