About Me:: I am a geoscience graduate, retired early from my post in education.
I am fit and healthy and exercise regularly. I am divorced and have 2 grown up children who live away from home. I like to fill each day with as much activity as I can, I am not a crusty old salt and I have a mix of interests, including ballroom dancing
Sailing Experience:: I have been sailing all my adult life. I am a RYA yachtmaster ocean examiner and senior instructor in dinghies/powerboats. I ran my own sailing school part-time for many years. I have made several ocean crossings and many North Sea crossings and trips from UK to Europe. I have owned several yachts and i have just refurnished a catamaran with a view to basing it in France
