I am a warm, outgoing, active person, very interested in people. I have an independent family, living locally, Manchester and Newcastle, so I enjoy visiting these cities on a regular basis. I enjoy travelling, and appreciate the diverse cultures that the planet has to offer.
Pre-pandemic I loved to see friends, and undertake activities such as dancing, tennis and sailing, and am gradually picking those up again.

Scotland to the Channel Islands, and the south east coast of Ireland. Slow passage to Las Palmas, then the ARC 2013 to St Lucia.
Independent sailing to the Azores via Bermuda 2014.
Day skipper refresher courses in Portugal, and Gibraltar 2015-2019. Crewed Azores to Portugal in June 2019 to complete Atlantic circuit.
