- About Me:
I am semi-retired nurse, working casual and spending my free time sailing. I'm 20 years into the sailing life and have explored as much of the West Coast as I can. I enjoy meeting new people, and have some long term sailing friends from Salt Spring and the Maple Bay area. I work in Vancouver so am back and forth from the Island and Mainland regularly.
- Sailing Experience:
Recently crewing on extensive trips in the Pacific Northwest, and racing in Perth, Aus. Have completed Power and Sail Squadron 2005, owned and single handled a 27" Catalina for ten years when first learning sailing. Proficient at navigation, trip planning, boat maintenance including bottom painting, organizing provisions and cooking. Have been sailing for 20 yrs. Have maintained logs, write a blog, take excellent photos and videos of sailing trips.
Trips include Haida Gwaii, around Vancouver Island, Inside Passage to Prince Rupert and all the big inlets from border to border.
