Ahoy! Fun, steady and experienced sailor/captain interested in growing my sailing life with fellow sailors around the northeast. I live in Massachusetts but sail in Rhode Island aboard my Catalina 30, in and around RI and Néw England.my Sailing roots are on the Chesapeake woth family and more recently as a certified ASA sailor. I am interesting in meeting other sailors who are interested in rafting up, crewing on each other’s boats and becoming involved in more of a sailing community as I do t belong to a fancy yacht club! By land I live and work in the Berkshires of Western MA where I also own a business that enables me to work on my boat now and then
I have two grown kids and a life filled with friends, family, books, cycling, hiking trails and a life compass that is fairly steady but swayed now and then by various magnetic interruptions! I’m an easy going and witty person who enjoyed smart curious company with well rounded lives and random Bookshelves. I ascribe to the Venn diagram relationship idea which means you can keep your boat and so can I. Happy sails!

Sailing Experience:

I grew up sailing on the Chesapeake with my Dad and got seriously into sailing independently in the last seven years or so. I have never raced but would enjoy giving that a try. I have done several Boat deliveries and am well connected in some Online women’s sailing groups as well as a group unique to my own sailboat model where I learn stuff every day and have access to lots of knowledge and resources. A big fan of the Master and Commander historical fiction novels -- my other sailing passion! I am on a continuous learning curve when it comes to sailing (and life).

Sailing Qualifications:

aSA 103-104, many years experience as crew and serval as boat owner/captain. I’ve done deliveries as well and chartered In the Caribbean.
