According to my friends I am smart, engaging, fun and intelligent. They say I mix well and am not phased by very much. Of course I think they are completely bonkers !
Life can be busy as I have 2 teenagers that live with me most of the time and whilst they need me less and less, they are my priority. A supportive family allows me flexibility for spontaneity and I do have time to spend time doing what I choose. My full time job is compressed into 4 days and I run my own business.Social life is active and varied with a distinct love of cycling, cooking/eating out, theatre - I live by the sea and dislike not being able to see it
On the activity front, it’s doubtful you will ever find me running a marathon or climbing Ben Nevis, (much happier on my bike!) but I’m willing to give most things a try - even if it is to establish how pathetic I am!
Travel has featured strongly in my life and I love an adventure.

Comp crew and day skipper but I really don’t think that I am very experienced at all. I have never skipped a boat and need lots of practice. However, I love being on the water, especially the warm, turquoise type.
I have been around the yachting community for a reasonable proportion of my life, but for much of that I was involved socially and as ballast on windy days when racing! Since I’ve been single I have sailed most years for a week. I have a total of 7 weeks sailing experience
