Retired Fire Captain, now doing sailing charters in San Francisco Bay aboard my 33’ sloop. I actually live in Reno, NV, but spend about half the time on my boat these days. Recently (and amicably) divorced, we remain dear friends but after 21 years she wants the relative safety of life ashore (?), whereas I want the discovery and adventure of the sea and unknown ports.
- Sailing Experience:
- Over 30 years sailing everything from a Force V dinghy to a Hunter 42 DS. I’ve sailed the US west coast from LA to Seattle, as well as many years on Lake Tahoe and other CA/NV lakes. I currently hold a USCG OUPV Captain’s license and do sailing charters on San Francisco Bay, with over 100 charters under my belt.
