I'm a cruiser, not a racer, so slow, off the wind and leisurely with a book is my style seamanship. Retired in 2013 and split my time between Florida in the winter and the Chesapeake in the summer.

Currently own a Leopard 38 since 2008. Have sailed it to Bermuda and the Florida Keys and the rest of the time on the Chesapeake. Prior cruising on other boats I've had included the entire East Coast between Newport to the Keys; Bermuda; and the Virgin Islands. Enjoy both bluewater sailing and coastal. I maintain my own boats so I'm pretty good with a wrench or tools in my hand.

Have been sailing my own boats since 1978. Cruised for two years during '86/'87 and pretty much continuously since 2013. Hold a 100GT Near Coastal Master Mariners Certificate.
